BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince said, ‘Begum Khaleda Zia is a victim of revenge by the Awami League government. They fear Begum Zia’s political and social power. And because of that, they want to remove him from politics, elections, and even the world.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a joint meeting at the BNP office in New Bazar of Mymensingh city last Friday night. Mymensingh North, South District and Metropolitan BNP organized the meeting.
Prince said, ‘BNP has decided to launch an all-out movement to demand the unconditional release of Begum Khaleda Zia. A 3-day program has been announced as the first step. As part of the central program, the rally will be held on the initiative of Mymensingh metropolis and North and South districts on Monday, July 1.
He called upon the leaders and activists of all levels of Mymensingh to hold a successful rally demanding the release of Begum Khaleda Zia in front of the party office at New Bazar next Monday at 3 o’clock.
