The growing humanitarian situation in Gaza and the Greater Palestinian Territory has become critical. The US will send weapons to Israel despite the suffering of the residents of Gaza.
International donors and some members of the US Congress have been urging Israel to increase humanitarian aid for displaced Gazans.
But the United States said on Tuesday it would continue supplying Israel with arms despite the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The Times of Israel reported this in a report on Wednesday (November 13).
US State Department spokesman Vedanta Patel said in a press briefing that Israel has taken some of the steps requested by the US in the October 13 letter.
However, Patel noted that Israel has not yet completed all steps. The letter gave Israel a month to change the policy, warning that failure to do so could be seen as a violation of US law. It prevents the transfer of offensive weapons to countries that prevent aid to civilians.
