Three more murder cases were filed against Bangladesh’s former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday.
Along with Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, son Sajib Wazed Joy, daughter Saima Wazed Putul and other leaders and activists of Awami League have been accused in these cases.
At the same time, the then director generals of police, RAB, BGB have been accused.
Two of the three new cases were reported in Dhaka’s Khilgaon police station.
One of these cases was filed by Kamal Hossain, the father of Mizanur Rahman, a grocer who was killed in Khilgaon area during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Another case was filed in the same police station by Arisha Afroz, the mother of Kishore Ashiqul Islam, who was shot dead.
On the other hand, the third case has been filed at Ashulia police station in Savar. Ashulia City University student who lost his life during the student movement has become the plaintiff in the case. Sajjad Hossain Sajal’s brother Mizanur Rahman.
In the last three weeks, more than half a hundred cases have been filed against Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, including several cases of genocide.
