A low pressure is located over Northwest Bay of Bengal. As a result monsoon is active over Bangladesh. Due to the influence of this monsoon, rain may occur in different parts of the country today. Along with this, the weather department said that the temperature may decrease.
Wednesday (September 25) from 6 a.m. in the next 60 hours weather forecast, said the meteorologist. Omar Farooq informed this information.
He said, in the first 12 hours, there may be rain or thundershower with temporary gusty winds in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Heavy to very heavy rain may occur at some places. Day and night temperature may decrease by 1 to 4 degree Celsius.
The forecast for the next 12 hours said that rain is likely again in the same area. Heavy rain is expected at some places. During this time the temperature may decrease by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
In the last 24 hours too, most of the eight divisions may experience thundershowers and very heavy rain at isolated places. During this time the temperature may remain almost unchanged.
Apart from this, it is predicted that the trend of rain may continue for the extended five days.
