According to the Chuadanga Meteorological Office, the temperature of Chuadanga fluctuated between 34 and 39 degrees for 19 consecutive days (May 6 to May 23).
Rakibul Hasan, the senior observer of Chuadanga First Class Meteorological Observatory, said that from May 6 to May 23, the temperature fluctuated from 34 degrees to 39.5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature recorded in Chuadanga was 40.0 (zero) degrees Celsius last Friday (May 24) at 3 pm. At that time the air humidity was 46 percent.
He also said that due to the high amount of water vapor in the air, public life is uncomfortable in Vapsa summer.
Most of the days since the beginning of this summer season, the highest temperature in the country has been recorded in this district. On April 30, the maximum temperature of Chuadanga was recorded at 43.7 degrees Celsius.
