Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, assistant secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, said, ‘The path of Islamic movement was never paved with flowers, not yet, but the continuation of the history of oppression and persecution. And Jamaat is an overwhelming force in the political reality of Bangladesh. So no one can stop the victory of Jamaat. In such a situation, we should not resort to oppression and persecution by the power of cancellation, but we should make a vital effort to make the religion victorious, ignoring all obstacles. Preserving the atmosphere of fraternity at all levels of the organization is the greatest demand of the time. He urged everyone to be uncompromising in the field of reaching the invitation of Islam to every people’s homes.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka District South Upazila/Thana Majlis Shura Member Conference at an auditorium in Keraniganj, Dhaka on Friday.Central Working Council Member and Narayanganj Metropolitan Amir Maulana Abdul Jabbar spoke as a special guest in the conference held under the chairmanship of Shura Member and District Amir Maulana Mohammad Delwar Hossain and conducted by District Secretary ABM Kamal Hossain.
District Naib Amir Md. Shahinur Islam also spoke at the conference, Jamaat leader Dr. District and police station leaders including Shahiduzzaman.
Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, ‘The government has resorted to various conspiracies to make the country devoid of talent and leadership. That is why they have turned the country into a slaughterhouse by unjustly killing the top leaders by specifically targeting the patriotic and idealistic Shakti Jamaat. But despite hundreds of persecutions, it could not stop the progress of Jamaat, and it will not be able to, but ignoring all kinds of persecutions, Jamaat will one day be able to reach its goal and lead the nation. He urged everyone to jump into the field together to establish a just society based on Islamic ideals.
In the speech of the special guest, Maulana Abdul Jabbar said, ‘Cultural aggression is going on in the country to destroy our new generation. Therefore, to save the country and the nation from the trap of bad culture, the nation must be made self-aware. And the responsibility of the Islamic movement is a deposit. Therefore, it is not allowed to betray the deposit of those in charge, rather, they must fulfill their duties properly as a duty of faith. He urged everyone to be uncompromising in religious work for peace in this world and liberation in the hereafter.
In the speech of the President, Maulana Mohammad Delwar Hossain said, ‘Religion is the purpose of life for every believer. It is stated in the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he who does not have the yazba of the religion, does not have faith. So there is no compromise in Deen Qayyam but everyone should be steadfast like a fearless soldier in the field. Only then will the victory of religion become inevitable.’
