He said this while speaking as the chief guest at an active support gathering organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on the initiative of Mugda Thana South Police Station of Dhaka Metropolis South on Friday.
Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said, ‘It is not possible to make a good person even by using the highest technology in this world. But Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is doing that challenging work. Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW created a golden state by enriching his companions with advanced morality through the ideals, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has also been able to make a group of people as golden people in this country, Alhamdulillah. Only the Jamaat-activists can build a happy and prosperous society with morals in this country.’
He said, “For the victory of the Deen of Allah, a group of qualified workers with piety is needed in this land. You have been brought together today to create honest and competent people with that morality. We all have to make maximum efforts in the field for the victory of religion in Iqama by building ourselves in the knowledge of Quran and Sunnah.’
He also said, ‘Today Bangladesh is covered with corruption. Even in this age of corruption, Jamaat has been able to present the highest example of integrity at all levels of state administration, from the Union Parishad to the Ministry. As a result, the people of this country are reluctant to accept the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami to change their destiny. Therefore, all the people of Jamaat-e-Islami should have a people-oriented character and continue to serve the people of the society.
