The price of the US dollar has fallen in the open market of Bangladesh as the supply has increased more than the demand.
According to foreign currency traders and money changers, the dollar is currently selling at Tk 121 to Tk 122 in the open market, as against Tk 125 three weeks ago
After the political change in the country on August 5, the demand for foreign travel decreased and the flow of dollars in the open market increased.
Generally travelers buy foreign currency from the open market. As their demand decreases, the value of the dollar is also on the decline.
