Three days after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, the advisors of the interim government were sworn in on Thursday around 9:30 pm. They took oath before President Md. Sahabuddin at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan.

Then the names of 16 advisory councilors were announced. Among them are Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed, Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adilur Rahman Khan, Hasan Arif, Tauhid Hossain, Syeda Rezwana Hasan, Sharmin Murshid, Farooqui Azam, Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain, Supradip Chakma, Bidhan Ranjan Roy, AFM Khalid Hasan, Farida Akhtar. , Nurjahan Begum, Md. Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud are alive and well.
Among these advisors, Bidhan Ranjan Roy, Faruqi Azam and Supradeep Chakma are out of Dhaka, so the President administered the oath to the remaining 14.
