On the occasion of International Democracy Day, BNP will hold a mass meeting in the capital on Tuesday.
The rally will start at 2.30 pm in front of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan. It will be chaired by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Tariq Rahman will be the chief guest. Acting Chairman London is expected to give a ‘new message’.
It is known that the Acting Chairman will join the rally virtually from London and give a ‘new message’ of the country’s reconstruction, BNP leaders said. Besides, there will be instructions for party leaders and workers from the rally.
Apart from Dhaka city of the party, leaders and workers from different districts of Dhaka division will join this rally.
BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku and Dhaka Metropolitan North Member Secretary Aminul Haque and South Member Secretary Tanveer Ahmed Rabin will address the mass meeting along with senior leaders along with BNP Standing Committee members.
The rally was supposed to be held in Nayapaltan yesterday (September 15) on International Democracy Day, but BNP postponed it to September 17 due to adverse weather conditions.
It was seen on the ground in Nayapaltan yesterday that the work of preparing the rally stage is going on. To see the progress of the work, the member of the standing committee of BNP, Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain and Joint Secretary General Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohail.
On the occasion of the day, rallies and gatherings will be held at the initiative of BNP in organizational divisional cities across the country on Tuesday.
BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas will be the chief guest at the program in Sylhet. Apart from this, party standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Mymensingh standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Chittagong standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed, Barisal standing committee member Selima Rahman, Rangpur standing committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Faridpur vice-chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu, Comilla vice – Chairman Mohammad Shahjahan and Vice-Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu will be the chief guests in Rajshahi
