It said that between 1 pm on Sunday (August 25) besides Dhaka, rain with gusty winds of 60-80 km per hour or rain with thunder may occur over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Kushtia and Faridpur from the south or southeast direction. According to the warning, isolated heavy rainfall (44-88 mm/24 hours) may occur at some places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions during the next 48 hours from 6 pm on Saturday due to active monsoon. As a result, it has been warned that there is a possibility of landslides somewhere in the hilly areas of Chittagong division.
