23 thousand 863 pilgrims have returned to the country after performing the holy Hajj. These Hajis came to Bangladesh in 30 flights from Saudi. Apart from this, 51 Bangladeshis have died so far while performing the holy Hajj.
This information was reported in the latest bulletin of the Hajj portal on Wednesday night.
It is said that 51 Bangladeshis have died on Haj so far. Among them 38 men and 13 women. Besides, 23 thousand 863 pilgrims have returned to the country after performing the holy Hajj. These Hajis came to Bangladesh in 30 flights from Saudi. Out of this, Biman operates 8 flights of Bangladesh Airlines, 10 flights of Saudi Airlines and 12 flights of Flinus Airlines.
Earlier, after the end of Hajj, the return flight started from last June 20. On that day, Bangladesh Biman’s first return flight 417 Haji landed at Shahjalal International Airport. Hajid’s return flight will continue till July 22.
This time a total of 85 thousand 225 pilgrims from Bangladesh (including management members) went to Saudi Arabia. Next year (2025) Saudi Arabia has given a quota of one lakh 27 thousand 198 people for Bangladesh
