Today is Holy Hajj. According to the Hijri calendar, 9 Zilhajj Hajj is held. On this day, all the pilgrims stayed in Arafah. Imam and Khatib of Masjidul Haram Sheikh Maher Al Muwaikili will deliver a sermon for the pilgrims at Arafah Maidan today. Inside the Haramain reported this information on Friday (June 14) night.
It has been said that today is 9 Zilhajj of Hijri 1445. On this day, Sheikh Maher Al Muwaikili will deliver the main khutba of Hajj from Masjid-e-Namirah. The sermon will be delivered after 12 noon.
Hajj is three. One of them is to stay in the field of Arafah. On the day of 9 Zilhajj, pilgrims have to stay in this field from Zuhr to sunset. As a result, after performing the Fajr prayers from Mina, the pilgrims proceeded towards the field of Arafah with the sound of Labbaik as soon as the sun rose. Starting from Jabal-e-Rahmat, Masjid-e-Namira, the pilgrims took position in convenient places in the designated areas of Arafat Maidan.
According to a hadith, if you fast on the day of Arafah, Allah forgives all the sins of the slave for two years. The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “With regard to fasting on the day of Arafat, I hope that he will forgive all the sins of the previous year and the next year.”
According to another hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast on the day of ‘Arafah.
Saudi Arabia’s General Presidency Department of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi said that this year’s Hajj sermon from Arafat Maidan will be translated into 50 languages. Under the supervision of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, this is the largest project to translate the Hajj Khutba so far.
In 2018, for the first time, the Hajj sermon was translated into five international languages. The sermon was translated into 10 languages in 2019 and 14 languages in 2022. In 2023, it will be translated into 20 languages and now it will be expanded to 50 languages.
