A deep depression is blowing over the Bay of Bengal. Due to its effect, the sea is turbulent. Gusts or stormy winds may blow over the coastal areas and seaports of Bangladesh. This information has been given in the special notice number 4 of the weather on Monday.
Meanwhile, the rains may increase due to the influence of deep depression, said the Meteorological Department. Moderate to heavy rain may occur at some parts of the country for the next three days.
The deep depression was located 705 km west-southwest of Chittagong sea port, 685 km west-southwest of Cox’s Bazar sea port, 525 km west-southwest of Mongla sea port and 550 km west-southwest of Payra sea port at 6 am on Monday. It may move further north-west and cross the Orissa coast near Puri. Due to this, there is a lot of variation in air pressure in the North Bay of Bengal area. Gale or gale force winds may blow over North Bay of Bengal, coastal areas of Bangladesh and sea ports.
Rain forecast : Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur at many places in Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions today on Monday. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur in most places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions tomorrow Tuesday. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds may occur at most places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions on Wednesday. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Day and night temperatures may drop by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country.
