A Rohingya named Zobair was killed by a bomb thrown by Myanmar’s rebel group Arakan Army in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf. Two more people were injured at this time.
The incident took place on Sunday (July 7) around 4 pm at Jaliar Island in the middle of the Naf River.
The injured are Jaber and Shukkur. The police claimed that the incident took place while fishing in Naf river.
Confirming the matter, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Model Police Station, Osman Gani, said that one Rohingya named Zobair was killed and two others were injured by the bomb thrown by the Arakan Army, a rebel group of Myanmar. They were rescued and sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. They went fishing in Naf river.
