The top ranks of the Bangladesh Army have been reshuffled. This was stated in a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.
ISPR Director Lt. Col. Sami Ud Daula Chowdhury signed the notice said, Major General Ziaul Ahsan has been dismissed from service, Lt. Gen. Md. Saiful Alam’s job has been assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General Md. Mojibur Rahman has been made the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lt. Gen. Ahmad Tabrez Shams Chowdhury has been made the Quartermaster General of the Army.
Apart from this, Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shamim has been appointed as Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque as Commandant NDC and Major General ASM Ridwanur Rahman as Director General of NTMC.
