BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has criticized the government’s decision to purchase aircraft and satellites from France at this time of economic crisis with rising commodity prices. He said, the real purpose of buying them is commission.
Mirza Fakhrul said this while inaugurating a three-day pamphlet distribution program in Dhaka city to create awareness about dengue prevention in Nayapaltan of the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
Bangladesh is going to get Bangabandhu-2 satellite from the same company after the decision to buy 10 aircraft from the French company Airbus. French President Emmanuel Macron thanked Bangladesh for such a decision. Makhon made this comment at a joint press conference after a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday morning.
Mirza Fakhrul said while inaugurating the pamphlet distribution program today, this government is a complete failure. There are two mayors in the two city corporations of Dhaka. They have been elected mayor by force.
Secretary General of BNP complained that the medicine bought in the name of Aedes mosquito killer is also stolen there. At the root of everything is theft.
Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘You have seen that the President of France has come. Good thing, we have a great guest. He welcomed the guest with many songs and dances. The people of the country are in a miserable condition. They are not able to eat properly. 10 Airbus will be bought from France. The real goal, feedback is available on this Airbus.’
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Feedback means commission”. Boeing does not earn commissions. That is why 10 Airbus are being bought now. And Satellite-2 will be bought. Satellites will be built. But can’t let people eat.’
Mirza Fakhrul said, on the one hand, the people should be made aware to fight dengue, on the other hand, this government should be removed by employing all the forces.
