Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has questioned the transparency of India’s election process. At the same time, he called EVMs in India a ‘black box’. He said no one gave him permission to use it. This was reported by news agency PTI. Rahul Gandhi said this on Sunday. “There are serious concerns about the transparency of India’s electoral system. “When there is a lack of accountability in institutions, democracy is vulnerable to fraud and deception. He was referring to a Shiv Sena candidate who won from Mumbai North West by just 48 votes. There were media reports that the candidate had a phone that could open the EVM. Elon Musk also posted a post on X.
In it, he discussed the issue of removing EVMs. The post was tagged by former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Elon Musk said in his post, “Our Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is removed. The risk of hacking this device with humans or artificial intelligence is much higher. Opposition parties have been raising concerns about this for some time. They are demanding 100 per cent counting of VVPAT slips, which were not allowed. Earlier in the day, former Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar was informed about the posts of Aces and Telsa chief Elon Musk. In response, he said these concerns do not apply to Indian EVMs. What Elon Musk wanted to say is that anything can be hacked.
