Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan North Muhammad Salim Uddin said, “Through a successful movement and mass revolution, the country was freed from dictatorship, fascism and misrule on August 5. As a result, new optimism has been created among the people. Jamaat-e-Islami also played a historic role in this movement along with students. All anti-fascist political forces and people of all classes and professions of the country are partners in this historic victory.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a conference organized jointly by Mirpur, Kafrur, Pallabi and Gulshan Zones of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolis North at Prince Chinese Restaurant, Mirpur in the capital yesterday at 9 pm.

Under the chairmanship of Amir Abdur Rahman Musa, a member of the Central Working Council and Naib of Dhaka Metropolitan North, and Shura member of the Central Majlis and Assistant Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North. Fakhruddin Manik’s member conference held in the Holy Kalame hakeem, prominent Islamic thinker Professor Dr. Maulana Abul Ihsan.

Salim Uddin said, “Jamaat has been continuously agitating for a long time to establish a justice-based Quranic society in the country. Therefore, there is no alternative to create a manpower with competent, intelligent and leadership qualities for a successful revolution in the country and running the country. Those who have the opportunity and ability, should be properly utilized to speed up the movement to establish religion. He called upon all to offer supreme sacrifice in the establishment of religion.
