Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated Narendra Modi, who is preparing to be elected as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term in the Indian Lok Sabha elections. He congratulated him in a message on social media X on Wednesday.
In his interview, Netanyahu said, ‘Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the election for the third time in a row. I extend my warmest congratulations to him from the bottom of my heart and hope that India-Israel relations will reach new heights during his new tenure. Badhai ho (congratulations)!’
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has got the support of its allies to form a new government, despite falling short of the required number of seats to form a new government in India.
The party has announced that it has secured support from all parties of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
A statement released on the party’s social media X (formerly Twitter) account said Narendra Modi was unanimously chosen as the leader of the alliance.
The support of these two parties is most important for the BJP to secure the desired 272 seats in the Lok Sabha. As a result, there should be no shortage of BJP’s confidence in getting partners to form the government.
