Indian authorities have tracked the mobile location of missing Jhenaidah Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim. They came to know that after leaving a friend’s house in Kolkata, the location of his mobile was found once in the Newmarket area there. Then on 17th May his phone was active for a while somewhere in Bihar.
This information was received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India by the authorities of Bangladesh consular office in Kolkata, said an official of the consular office, who did not want to reveal his name.
Mr. Sinthi, the northern suburb of Calcutta Barahnagar area of the friend’s house. Azim, that Gopal Biswas told BBC Bangla that on May 13th he left his house and got into the rented car that Mr. Azim was informed by the local police that the driver had been found.
“I filed a missing diary with the police. They located the vehicle and interrogated the driver. The driver then told the police that a Bangladeshi national was with the MP. He released the two of them in the New Town area near Kolkata on May 13,” said Mr. faith
Apart from this, no further information about the missing MP has been received so far.
On behalf of the deputy embassy, the press secretary Ranjan Sen officially told BBC Bangla, “We were informed about the disappearance of the member of parliament from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Saturday. Only then we contacted the Ministry of External Affairs of India. We have been informed that they are enquiring.”
Since the last time the missing member of parliament was seen in Kolkata, it is also known that the Bangladesh vice-embassy is informally in touch with the Kolkata police.
He went out to see the doctor
A resident of Kolkata’s Sinthi area, businessman Gopal Biswas said his family relationship with Anwarul Azim spanned more than two decades.
Mr. Biswas was saying, “This time he came and told me that a neurologist will show up. He also wanted to know which doctor would be good, but there was no neurologist that I knew of, so I suggested him to get treatment at Apollo Hospital in Salt Lake. We had breakfast together. Then I also told him that my car is not there that day, he should arrange the car. After that I moved to the office on the first floor of the house.”
“Then I got busy with work. While leaving in the afternoon, he told me that he would return home in the evening. When I saw the CCTV footage after not finding him, I came to know that he left my house at 1.41 pm,” said Gopal Biswas.
Gopal Biswas wrote in the missing diary in Barahnagar police station that Anwarul Azim got into the rental car from Bidhan Park area near his house. A witness who saw him get into the car also told the police. faith
Even though he was supposed to return to his friend’s house in the evening, he did not return there. Azim He sent a message on WhatsApp that “I am going to Delhi on a special business and will call you on arrival, you don’t need to call me.”

Out to see the doctor in Delhi?
Gopal Biswas of Kolkata has a jewelery export business. He was telling about two and a half decades of friendship with parliament member Anwarul Azim.
“Bangladesh used to live in India during the BNP era. Our house is in Majhdia. Anar lived there in Subhash Aggarwal’s house. I met there, then became friends. The relationship has now moved to the family level,” said Gopal Biswas.
That’s why Anwarul Azim went to his friend’s house for treatment.
After leaving the house at noon that day Mr. The police questioned the driver of the rental car in which Azim had boarded.
After that, the police told Gopal Biswas that the driver said to drop another Bangladeshi citizen along with Mr. Azim in New Town area.
Then on the morning of May 15, Mr. Gopal Biswas. Gets another WhatsApp message from Azim that he has reached Delhi and has ‘VIPs’ with him, so don’t call him.
Two days later, on 17th May, Mr. Gopal Biswas Azim’s daughter called and said that she could not contact her father.
“After hearing the news, I told everyone who is close to him in Kolkata. They also started to inquire. But Azim could not be found on the phone,” said Mr. faith
The next day, May 18, he went to the Barahnagar police station.
Mr. Biswas was saying, “I was kept there all day. The police went to my house and collected the CCTV footage. After examining them, my missing diary was taken. They also got the number of the rental car. Talked to the driver. Surely the police are investigating, but they are not telling me all the information.”
