Jamaat’s Central Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair said that Jamaat’s activities will continue for the welfare of humanity.

He said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the oppressed caravan committed to building a justice-based society in the green land of Bangladesh, wants to gain God’s pleasure by doing the welfare of humanity. Therefore, in any disaster, they are working for the welfare of humanity with all their abilities. Unable to deal with ideology, Jamaat has been subjected to unlimited oppression. Top leaders were hanged. But the conspiracy to divert the Jamaat from its goal did not succeed. Jamaat’s activities were, are and will continue to be for the welfare of humanity.

He also said that recently three people were killed in a tragic landslide at Chameli Bagh in Sylhet city. Tiladhas are dying due to government indifference. In this regard, the concerned authorities should take effective initiatives.

He said all this in the speech of the chief guest while giving monetary donation to the family of deceased Abdul Karim along with his wife and children who were recently killed in a landslide in Chamelibagh area of ​​Ward No. 35 of Sylhet city on Tuesday afternoon in Majortila area of ​​the city.

At that time, the leaders handed over a cash grant of Tk 1 lakh to the deceased Abdul Karim’s mother Jasmine Begum and his elder brother Abdul Karim for building a house. He wished for the forgiveness of the deceased.

Sylhet Metropolitan Shahparan East Police Station Amir Shamim Ahmed presided over and Secretary Mohammad Saiful Islam conducted the financial donation ceremony as the special guest of Jamaat central working council member and Sylhet Metropolitan Amir Muhammad Fakhrul Islam.

Educationist Jasim Uddin, Naib of Shahparan East Police Station Amir Maulana Faizur Rahman and others spoke among others.

Leaders said the death of three members of a family in Tiladhas was heartbreaking. Despite the risk of landslides due to heavy rains, no effective role was played by the administration in advance. They strongly demanded from the government for speedy relocation of those living at risk from above and below the hill and rehabilitation of the affected.
