Indian Union Minister and former External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her place of residence.
“Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Jaishankar discussed in detail the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries,” Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud told reporters after the meeting. ’
She said they expressed their desire to further bolster the ties in the days to come.

Jaishankar said the relations between the two countries have reached new heights.
Quoting Jaishankar, Dr Hasan said, “We’re working to further develop and expand the relations between the two countries.” ’
