Israeli forces have launched an indiscriminate attack on the southern city of Rafah in Gaza. At least six people were killed. Qatar-based Al Jazeera reported this information citing Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The report said. Four days ago, Israeli tanks entered Shujaiya in the northern part of Gaza. Residents said that shells were fired at various houses from tanks. This leaves many families stranded with no way out.
According to the United Nations, 60,000 to 80,000 people have been displaced from Shujaiya in recent days.
“For those of us who are still here, our lives have become hell,” said 50-year-old Shiham al-Shawa.
The war between Hamas and Israel has been going on in Gaza since October last year. So far, at least 37,000 Palestinians have been killed and at least 90,000 injured.
