India visa ban on 6 student leaders

New Delhi has accused six Bangladeshi student leaders of inciting anti-India mobs and being involved in activities against India’s national interest. Their close relatives have been blacklisted by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for not issuing visas. Verbal instructions in this regard have already been sent to the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. Several Indian media journalists working in Delhi confirmed this to The Mirror Asia.

In this list are the president of a section of the People’s Rights Council Nurul Haque Noor, the convener of Democratic Students Shakti, Akhtar Hossain, the newly appointed special assistant to the chief advisor Mahfuz Alam, the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam and Nusrat Tabassum.
