Amir Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari and General Secretary Allama Sajedur Rahman of Hefazte Islam Bangladesh have given urgent directions to its leaders, activists and supporters to stop the ongoing anarchy in the country.
He gave this instruction in a statement given to the media on Wednesday (07 August).
In the statement, they said that vandalism, robbery and unrest are going on in various parts of the country due to insufficient presence of law and order forces. Bad news of all kinds is coming; We are concerned about this. The heads of the three forces must take more comprehensive security measures to prevent these immediately.
They also said, without any hesitation, I urge the President to announce an all-inclusive and short-term interim government as soon as possible. The representation of scholars in the interim government should also be ensured. Because starting from Shapla Chattar on May 5 till now there is a massive sacrifice of scholars. Even the participation and sacrifice of madrasa teachers and students in the student revolution cannot be denied. So, if there is a secular conspiracy to steal the students’ revolution, we will be forced to take to the streets with a strict program.
The leader said, I am telling our leaders, activists and supporters, you should form different volunteer teams in your respective areas. Assign tasks to teams divided into night and day. Guard government buildings, police stations, shops and minority property and places of worship in their respective areas. I again call for your full activism during this transitional period. In this emerging situation, citizens should fulfill their duties unitedly in order to maintain law and order. We have to protect our country.
