It is said that in the first 21 days of this September, 163 million 42 million 30 thousand US dollars remittances have arrived in the country. And at the same time in August, 150 million 36 million dollars came to the country. Accordingly, the remittance flow has increased in this month.
In the first three weeks of September, 48.7 million 50 thousand US dollars came through state-owned banks. Besides, 6 crore 98 lakh 30 thousand dollars through specialized banks, 107 crore 96 lakh 10 thousand dollars through private banks and 4 million 30 thousand dollars came through foreign sector banks.Earlier, the remittances in the first month of the current financial year were around USD 191 million after USD 253.86 million in June last year, which was the lowest in the last 10 months.
However, after the formation of the interim government, the situation started to normalize. As a result of this, expatriates sent the highest remittance of 222 crore 13 lakh 20 thousand US dollars in the current financial year last August.
