9 months of Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip have passed without any achievement. On the contrary, during this period, the level of crisis in the supply of military equipment and maintenance of troops for Tel Aviv is increasing day by day.
Recently, Israel’s Channel Seven reported that since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7, the number of disabled members of the Israeli army has exceeded 70 thousand, including 8 thousand 663 wounded.
The channel also reported that 35 percent of the disabled soldiers have become mentally ill after October 7 and 21 percent are undergoing treatment for serious physical injuries.
The Ministry of War of the Israeli government said that they are preparing to treat about 20,000 new wounded soldiers by the end of this year.
According to the report of Israeli Television Channel Seven, “Every month more than 1,000 new wounded men and women are being admitted to hospitals for treatment.” 95% of the injured are men. 70 percent of them are reserve troops. According to Israeli experts, about 40 percent of wounded soldiers who will be hospitalized by the end of 2024 may suffer from various psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
In response to continuous Israeli crimes in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas launched an operation called ‘Al-Aqsa Toufan’ from the Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.
During the operation, Hamas entered the northern part of Israel and killed more than 1,200 people. At the same time, more than 200 people were taken hostage in Gaza by the members of this Palestinian independence organization.
With the support and assistance of some Western countries including the United States, Israel started brutally bombing the innocent Gazans to overcome the sadness of this defeat. More than 37,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the country’s attacks so far. Another 86 thousand were injured.
