On the occasion of the third phase of the sixth upazila parishad election, the Ministry of Public Administration has announced a general holiday on May 29 in the respective constituencies of 111 upazilas. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday.
It is said that according to the demand of the Bangladesh Election Commission Secretariat, a general holiday has been declared in the respective constituencies on the day of the general election of 111 upazila parishads.
Earlier, the Election Commission directed the Ministry of Public Administration to declare a general holiday in 111 upazilas in the third phase of the election. The organization sent a letter to the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration in this regard.
It is said that on May 29, the third phase of the sixth upazila parishad election will be held in 111 upazilas. On the occasion of the election, it is necessary to declare a general holiday in the respective constituencies on the day of polling i.e. 29th May. On the occasion of Upazila Parishad elections, it is requested to take necessary measures to declare general holiday on the day of polling i.e. May 29 in the respective constituencies.
