“Going to the number one position in politics is not the goal of Jamaat, victory of religion is the main goal”

Sangram Online: Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Central Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, said that the goal of the Jamaat is not to be number one in politics, but the main goal is to win the religion. In politics, it is already being spread that Jamaat is number one in the country according to various statistics. But it is not our goal to be number one in politics but the victory of religion in Iqama is our first target. That is why the right invitation of Islam must be delivered to everyone. Jamaat-e-Islami wants to see Islamic power as the winning ideal in this country. That is why each of our unit branches will be a stronghold of Islamic victory.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the unit responsible conference organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolis South’s Shyampur-Kadmatli Zone in the capital’s Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa auditorium today (November 08).

He said, the Prophet (PBUH) did not just sit dreaming of the formation of a golden Madinah state. He himself jumped into action in the field. Allah Ta’ala does not give results just by sitting and praying. It is the Sunnah of Allah Rabbul Alamin to deliver the individual to victory and specific goals after engaging in action. On August 5th, the students of Bangladesh did not just sit and dream. By jumping on the field and shedding the blood of the chest, the beloved motherland Bangladesh has been freed from the grip of fascism. He expressed the hope that this student crowd will prevent all conspiracies in any situation for the country’s needs.

Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, as the responsible of the Islamic movement, we have to set the highest example of loyalty. In any difficult situation, we must be active in the work of religion in Iqama to speed up the victory of Islam. We need to show organization in all places through strategy and modesty. You, the first level unit officials of the Islamic Movement, have no opportunity to hold any anger or pride among yourselves. You have to play a role for the real liberation of the people of this country by using your talents and skills.

Abdus Sabur Fakir said, as a believer, worldly opportunities are not the priority for us. Our main target will be ultimate success in the hereafter. The stronger our relationship with the laws given by Allah, the easier will be the task of winning Iqamat Deen in this country. To make the Islamic movement victorious, we have to keep the signature of merit in our respective workplaces. For the victory of Deen, we must give priority to the work of Dawati. The right call of Islamic movement should be conveyed to the people of Bangladesh.

Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said that unit activities should be kept active to strengthen the main organization. As the responsible person of the unit level of the Islamic movement, I have to be anxious to fulfill the conditions of Allah in order to make Islam victorious in this country as well as to make myself suitable for paradise. To turn the organization into a strong and victorious movement, we have to reveal our people-oriented character. Jamaat’s invitation should reach people of all classes and professions of the society to make the south of Dhaka metropolis a strong bastion of Islamic movement. Purify yourself and make efforts to win the religion of God in the land of God through the sacrifice of life and property.
