The ruling BJP did not get a single majority to form the government in the Lok Sabha elections of India. So the party has to form a government in the center of India relying on partners. Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav slammed the BJP-led government as ‘weak’. He claimed that the Modi government will fall within a month.
He said these things at an anniversary function of Rashtriya Janata Dal in Bihar capital Patna on Friday. News from India Today.
Lalu Prasad Yadav said Modi government is weak. It can collapse at any time. This government may fall next August. So you have to be ready for the by-elections of the Lok Sabha from now.
The former Chief Minister of Bihar said, ‘I am calling on all the party workers to be ready as the (Lok Sabha) elections may take place at any time. Modi’s government in Delhi is very weak and it may fall by next August.’
The opposition has repeatedly expressed apprehensions about the future of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, but the party has dismissed such apprehensions. On Friday also they rejected Lalu Prasad Yadav’s claim. In this regard, BJP government’s Union Minister Nityananda Rai said, ‘Lalu Prasad Yadav is dreaming.’
This member of Modi’s cabinet also said, ‘People have voted for Modi. who is now serving a record third term. Under his leadership and (Bihar) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the NDA will continue to defeat the opposition in Bihar.’
At that time, he claimed that the situation in Bihar had become poor during RJD’s rule.
It should be noted that in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in India, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance or NDA won 292 seats. On the other hand, the Congress-led India Alliance won 233 seats. The BJP, which had won the majority in the previous two terms, has single-handedly won 240 seats this time. 272 seats are required to form the government. So this time Modi has to rely on the alliance partners to form the government.
