An exchange meeting was held with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and 12-party alliance today on Thursday.
In the meeting, the prevailing situation of the country including establishment of law and order, prosecution of genocide, return of smuggled money, rule of law and establishment of human rights were discussed.
It was said in the meeting that after the historical revolution of the students, it is necessary to establish a non-discriminatory, communal-harmony society to take the country to a place of meaningful stability and development. We want to build a country free from fascism. The officials of the previous fascist regime, the party armed terrorists who have carried out anarchic killings in the country must be immediately brought to justice and exemplary punishment. Rule of law in every sector of the country, fundamental rights of all people must be ensured. Officials who helped the misdeeds of the previous government should be removed and honest, efficient and professional officials should be appointed.
It was also said in the discussion meeting that the country’s economy should be strengthened by making arrangements to bring back money looted by fascists. Those who have been killed in the students’ movement should be properly investigated and the actual number should be presented to the nation and the families of the victims should be compensated accordingly. The interim government continues to work to establish good governance in the country. The friends of fascism are continuing their efforts to destroy this peaceful environment of the country. So that the miscreants cannot destroy this victory of the students’ movement, the people of the country must be vocal and all must play a united role to face any situation. Necessary reforms should be completed and elections should be arranged. We need to make our unity stronger and stronger. We are passing the time in a conspiracy.
