Naib Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman congratulated the countrymen on the holy Eid-ul-Azha.
He expressed his wishes in a press release sent by the media on Saturday.
In the statement, he said, ‘The holy Eid-ul-Azha, which commemorates Hazrat Ibrahim alaihis salam and his wife Hazrat Hajera and their beloved child Hazrat Ismail alaihis salam, is gathered before us. Eid-ul-Azha inspires us with the ideals of sacrifice and sacrifice. It awakens in our mind the consciousness of leaving everything for the sake of Allah alone to attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Qurbani inspires us to eliminate social discrimination, establish an Islamic society free from exploitation and based on justice. Islam should be fully followed by establishing justice and fairness at the personal, social and state level with the mindset of sacrifice and sacrifice.’
Naib Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said, ‘We are going to celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Azha at a time when political, economic, social and moral crises are prevailing in the country. The law and order situation in the country has deteriorated drastically. Bribery, corruption, murder, disappearance, murder, terrorism, rape, extortion, etc. are making society miserable. The prices of daily necessities including rice, flour, oil, pulses, meat, fish, pastries, sugar and spices are increasing abnormally. How can people enjoy the joy of Eid-ul-Azhar in such a situation where people do not get to eat two handfuls of rice for two days! The poor, lower middle class and middle class people of the country are living in hardship. The irresponsible government is pretending not to see these things. Basically, because the government is not elected by the people, the government does not feel that it has any responsibility to the people.’
Professor Mujibur Rahman said, ‘The government seized power again on January 7 through farcical dummy elections. Disenfranchised citizens and destroyed all democratic institutions of the country. There is no freedom of speech, humanity and good governance in the country. The dirty mentality of the government to stay in power by force has pushed the country towards conflict. May Almighty Allah rescue the nation from this situation and resolve all problems peacefully.’
The Jamaat leader said, ‘In view of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha, we remember with deep respect the history of the great sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and his wife Hazrat Hajera and their son Hazrat Ismail (AS). In the glory of their sacrifice, if we can sacrifice our lives and our dear things on this land of Allah for the establishment of Allah’s religion, then all our sacrifices and sacrifices will be acceptable and beneficial to Allah, Insha’Allah.
Prof. Mujibur Rahman wished the countrymen on the holy Eid-ul-Azha and said, I am praying to Allah for the happiness, peace, prosperity, good health and safe life of the countrymen who are plagued with problems in view of the holy Eid-ul-Azha and I sincerely wish everyone on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha on behalf of myself and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Greetings.’
