According to the report, 41 men, 6 women and 7 children are among the dead in the flood. Among them, 14 people died in Comilla, 19 in Feni, 6 in Chittagong, 1 in Khagrachari, 8 in Noakhali, 1 in Brahmanbaria, 1 in Laxmipur, 3 in Cox’s Bazar and 1 in Moulvibazar. Besides, one person is missing in Moulvibazar.
10 lakh 9 thousand 522 families are trapped in water due to flood. A total of 3,269 shelters have been opened to provide shelter to stranded and affected people. A total of 4 lakh 68 thousand 687 people and 38 thousand 192 cattle have been sheltered in the shelters.
A total of 56 medical teams are operational to provide medical care to the victims of 11 districts.
