The Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. thanked the Almighty God for the liberation of the country and the nation from the hands of the dictator in exchange for the blood of hundreds of martyrs, congratulated the people and called for maintaining peace and order in the country. Shafiqur Rahman said in a statement issued on August 5, “Millions of thanks to Almighty Allah that He freed our beloved Bangladesh from the grip of dictators in exchange for the blood of hundreds of martyrs. I express my gratitude to the country’s students, teachers, cultural personalities, journalists, lawyers, poets and writers, civil society and people of various professions and political parties for the unique role they have played in making this movement a success.
I show deep respect and honor to those who gave their lives for this movement and my condolences and condolences to their families. Also, I wish the injured a speedy recovery. Nation will remember our youth as heroes.
