At that time, Jamaat Ameer congratulated and thanked everyone for vising the Jamaat office. He further said, “Our meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere. We talked together about the interests of both countries. We also discussed about various issues including education, culture, development where we can move forward together. Besides, the current scenario of Bangladesh has been widely discussed. We hope that, the people and the governments of these two countries, will avail the opportunity to work more closely in the upcoming days. I once again, would like to congratulate the honorable guests for coming here and hope that our mutual dialogue will continue in the coming days for the benefit of both countries.”Chinese Ambassador HE Yao Wen also expressed satisfaction with the hospitality of Jamaat-e-Islami and said, “Bangladesh is a beautiful country. Jamaat-e-Islami is a disciplined party. The people of China want friendly relations with the people of Bangladesh. We will continue to work for the development, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh in the future.”Jamaat Ameer thanked everyone who were present on the occasion and said, “The People’s Republic of China is our important development partner.” We requested them to invest more in Bangladesh. We have requested them to be more proactive to facilitate the rehabilitation and repatriation process of the Rohingyas. We hope they will take it into active consideration.”
