The chief advisor of the interim government has expressed deep grief over the death of Lt. Tanjim Sarwar while serving in Chakria of Cox’s Bazar. Muhammad Yunus.
This information was informed in a circular signed by Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Tuesday night.
He said, ‘I pray for his departed soul to rest in peace and express my sincere condolences to his family. I would like to express my condolences to all my colleagues in the Bangladesh Army.’
Dr. Yunus is currently in the United States to attend the 79th session of the United Nations.
Condolence Dr. Yunus said, ‘This young and talented officer of the army has sacrificed his life to protect the people as a guardian of peace and order and sovereignty of the country. His self-sacrifice as an example of the ideal of patriotism will forever be remembered by the nation with reverence.’
Professor Yunus said, “Nirjan’s death has happened at a time when the Bangladesh Army is working day and night for the security of people across the country under ‘In Aid to Civil Power’.”
Dr. Yunus also said, “His untimely death in the attack of miscreants is an irreparable loss not only for the army but also for the country.”
The Chief Advisor said, this great sacrifice of Lt. Tanzim Sarwar for the needs of the beloved motherland will be a source of motivation for our determination to build a happy and prosperous future Bangladesh.
