Former Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajib Wazed Joy has demanded the arrest and exemplary punishment of those involved in the killing of former Chhatra League leader Abdullah Al Masood of Rajshahi University.

He posted this claim on his verified Facebook page on Monday (September 9).

Sheikh Hasina’s son Joy, who is abroad, claimed his status and said that one of his legs was amputated in 2014. Then the veins of the remaining arms and legs were also cut. Abdullah Al Masud was living a crippled life for 10 years. She was brutally murdered when she went to the pharmacy next to her house in Rajshahi to get medicine for her daughter. 

Claiming that Rajshahi University coordinator Salahuddin Ammar masterminded the murder, Joy said, “I seek forgiveness for Masud’s soul and demand immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the killers.”

Earlier, Abdullah Al Masood was attacked when he went to Binodpur area of ​​the university-adjacent city to buy medicine last Saturday (September 7) night. Masud has been accused of attacking students on August 5. It is said that he was attacked in that context. His physical condition was critical in the attack and he was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital with the help of the army. He died there.
