BNP will show strength in the field today

BNP wants to hold the ground in the situation that arose after the fall of the Awami League government in the student uprising. The party has instructed the leaders and activists to be careful about the program on the National Day of Mourning today.

There will be vigilance in all neighborhoods of the country, so that Awami League leaders and workers cannot organize again around this day. The party will be more vocal in demanding justice for the genocide in the movement of students. In the meantime, the high command has instructed the leaders and workers of all levels of the party to carry out this program. 

It is known that on the occasion of August 15, BNP, Youth, Volunteers, Chhatra Dal will also hold protest marches and rallies in district-metropolitan, thana-upazila and municipal units so that Awami League cannot create any chaos. The party held the same program yesterday on Wednesday. But today they want to show more power.

As part of the central program, BNP will hold sit-in programs in Baitul Mukarram, Gulshan and Dhanmondi today. Apart from this, the leaders and activists of the party will stand in front of the central office in Nayapaltan. The party’s general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest at the program in front of the central office. Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal will stand at the central Shaheed Minar at 10 am with the same demand. A large number of leaders and activists have been ordered to gather at these places in the capital from 8 am.

A large number of Chhatra Dal leaders and activists have occupied Dhanmondi number 32 since last night. Apart from this, Rafiqul Alam Majnu, convenor of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP, will lead the sit-in program starting from Gate No. 1 of Baitul Mukarram and the Awami League office and surrounding areas. BNP executive committee member Sheikh Rabiul Alam will lead the location program from Science Lab to Dhanmondi number 32. The activists will remain at both the places from 8 am till further orders. 

BNP leaders said that Awami League has continued various conspiracies to fail the interim government. In the meantime, the group’s involvement has been found in attacks on religious places of worship of minorities in different parts of the country. The leaders and workers of the party have become active to destabilize the country through rumours. In such a situation, they fear that the Awami League leaders and activists may try to create anarchy in the name of the program centered on August 15. In this situation, BNP has taken the strategy of taking a cautious position on the streets. Any attempt to do anything will be resisted. 

Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP member secretary Aminul Haque said, ‘The ghosts of dictator Sheikh Hasina’s government are now present in the neighborhoods of different areas. Today, I will stand peacefully in the light of the central program in every ward of Dhaka metropolis, so that Awami terrorists cannot raise their heads again.’

All-out stand program of anti-discrimination student movement

The anti-discrimination student movement has announced an all-out sit-in program across the country on Thursday as part of the Resistance Week program for four-point demands, including the trial of the murderer Sheikh Hasina. The coordinators of the movement have announced a central gathering at Shahbag intersection in the capital at 10 am. The announcement was made on Wednesday night by Abu Bakr Majumdar, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. 

Meanwhile, an all-out sit-in program will be held in Chittagong’s New Market. Students will gather at three points Talaimari, Railgate and C&B junction in Rajshahi. Private university student alliance said, they will be on guard around Dhanmondi 32 from Wednesday night for any conspiracy or unstable environment, unusual movement. They have called upon the students of all universities around Dhanmondi including University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh University and Daffodil Institute of IT to gather at Dhanmondi 32.
