An unprecedented and exciting chapter has been written in the history of mountaineering in Bangladesh. Its author is Babar Ali. Babar Ali conquered Lotse, the world’s fourth highest peak, at 5:50 a.m. local time of Nepal on Tuesday (6:55 a.m. Bangladesh time). After waiting with bated breath for three days, he conquered this peak.
This is the first Karo Lotse summit in Bangladesh and the first to summit two eight thousand peaks in the same expedition.
Earlier on Sunday, Babar Ali reached the top of Everest at 8:45 am Bangladesh time.
Before this, five Bangladeshis conquered Mount Everest six times in four years between 2010 and 2013. But soon the Everest expedition came under drought. No Bangladeshi has had a successful campaign for a long time.
Babar Ali raised the red-green flag on the top of Mount Everest early on Sunday after the drought of 11 years.
