Awami League has no right to organize in the country. Because, there have been unprecedented killings during the Awami League government. Unlimited money has been smuggled and looted. They are fascists.
Hefazet Islam Bangladesh Amir Muhibbullah Babunagari and Secretary General Sajedur Rahman said these things in a statement on Monday.
This statement was issued in strong protest against a statement of Brigadier General (Retd.) M Sakhawat Hussain, Home Affairs Adviser to the Interim Government. The Home Affairs Adviser said to the Awami League today that they should not do anything that endangers the lives of leaders and workers. They should rather focus on rebuilding the team.
Noting that Awami League has given the country nothing but misrule, Hefazet Islam’s statement said, Awami fascists have no right to organize. They must be stopped.
Hefazat leaders urged the interim government to cancel the August 15 public holiday and remove the statue of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. They also said that the countrymen should ruthlessly uproot all the teachings, cultural and political existence of fascism and all the roots of its resurgence.
The statement further said that the Custody leaders were shocked by the Home Adviser’s statement. He should stop here.
