Anti-quota activists have announced a new program.
It has been announced to hold a protest march in every campus of the country at 3 pm on Tuesday in protest against the brutal attack by the Chhatra League on the anti-quota activists in Dhaka University on Monday.
Nahid Islam, the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, has called on all the people of the country to gather in this movement.
The students announced the program at a press conference in front of Dhaka University’s Shahidullah Hall around 9:30 pm on Monday.
Nahidul Islam said, today we have been attacked by outsiders in a planned manner. How do outsiders attack our university despite having proctors? The government is trying to suppress this movement violently. We strongly condemn the statement made by the Prime Minister on the quota issue. We want to withdraw this statement immediately. The Prime Minister should express his grief to the student society.
