The Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami expressed deep grief over the death of Asad bin Hafiz, one of the famous believers in Bengali literature. Shafiqur Rahman gave a condolence message on Monday (July 1).
In his obituary, he said, poet Asad bin Hafiz was one of the most famous poets, writers, writers, researchers and intellectuals of Bengali literature. He was ideologically a follower of Farrukh Ahmad. In his work, the renaissance and revolutionary trend of the Muslim society of Bengal can be seen. Along with his creativity in the history of modern Bengali literature, he has integrated the Islamic perspective in literature. His children’s literature and rhymes are unparalleled in the contemporary era. He was a rare literary talent, eminent cultural organiser, rhymer and publisher. His many books, Islamic songs and poems inspired the new generation in Islamic consciousness.
He also said that the poet Asad bin Hafiz published about 81 books. He has received many awards and honors in recognition of his illustrious work and literature. After his death, the void created in the field of Islamic literature and cultural movement and Ahi-based literature is not easy to fill. We are deeply saddened by the demise of the ever smiling, simple, modest and unassuming personality. May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala forgive and have mercy on him and widen his grave. Forgive his sins and turn them into virtues. Make every destination from the grave onwards easy, comfortable and auspicious for him. May Allah Almighty grant him a high place in Jannah and grant his bereaved family and colleagues the tawfiq to bear this grief.-Advertisement
