Central Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad said that Awami League was celebrating corruption in the name of development. They have taken Bangladesh to bankruptcy.
He made this claim in his speech as the chief guest at the Jamaat-e-Islami workers conference at Dhanmondi police station in the capital on Friday (September 20).
He claimed that suppression of rival political parties is the principle of Awami League’s politics.
At that time, he said, Awami League had a manifesto in the general election of 1970 that they would not make any law against Quran and Sunnah if they came to power. But in the three and a half years of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s rule, all Islamic political parties were banned in the country. It has announced that religion-based politics will not continue. Without Islam no nation can and does have real peace. Sheikh Hasina has followed her father’s path. As a result of which Sheikh Hasina also canceled the registration of Jamaat-e-Islami and finally banned Jamaat-e-Islami. Pharaoh’s ghost Sheikh Hasina said with arrogance, who will run the country after him? He thinks only himself worthy. He regularly ridiculed that no one was worthy, no one had any merit. But the arrogance of Sheikh Hasina, the ghost of the pharaoh, was answered by the people of Bangladesh through the July revolution of August 5.
AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad also said that Awami League has never done politics in public interest. Coming to power through the back door was their political trick. Awami League came to power in 2008 through a questionable election. Since coming to power, Sheikh Hasina has given everything India has asked for, to occupy the Ganabhaban, to retain the Prime Minister’s chair. Sheikh Hasina admitted that India will never forget what she gave to India. Because he gave more than what India expected. In recognition of that contribution, India has given shelter to the murderer Sheikh Hasina. Jamaat-e-Islami established bank, insurance has been looted by Awami League. If the Awami League had stayed in power for a few more days, it would have declared independent Bangladesh bankrupt. And on this occasion, India took the responsibility of Bangladesh and made Bangladesh a part of India. But the people of Bangladesh have thwarted that attempt of Awami League.
He also said that in July-August, the army chief realized that if he goes against the people, he will have to give his life along with Sheikh Hasina. So the army chief forgot the identity of the relative and took a stand for the people. Later, the acceptance of the entire army including the army chief increased among the people of the country.
Pointing out that our third freedom was achieved in the August 5 revolution, he said, “In 1971, we achieved our second independence from Pakistan.” Because in 1947, if the British did not declare the territory of Bangladesh as an independent land with Pakistan, Bangladesh would have been subordinated like Kashmir today.
Hamidur Rahman Azad also said that the people do not want a new extortionist to come to power by driving out the Awami League. Mentioning that the people of this country will not allow extortion to change hands, he said, Jamaat-e-Islami has formed such a workforce, that workforce believes people’s lives and property as a deposit and fears Allah. The workers of Jamaat-e-Islami will lead Bangladesh in the future if the people want it.
Dhanmondi South Police Station Amir Hafez Rashedul Islam presided over and secretary Advocate Zobaidur Rahman Babur was present as a special guest in the staff meeting, member of the Central Working Council and Dhaka Metropolitan South Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Central Majlis Shura Member and Zone Director Engineer Al Amin Sheikh, Dhaka Metropolitan South Working Council Member and Hazaribagh-Kamrangichar Zone Director Professor Noor Nabi Manik.
In the speech of the special guest, the member of the central working council and the secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Shafiqul Islam Masud said, Dhanmondi is an elite area. But Awami League has turned this elite area into a cursed area in the last 15 years. Inventing the number 32, they created the helmet and hammer army. But Jamaat-e-Islami has produced ideal workers in this area. These idealistic workers will lead the people of Dhanmondi in the future. Will free the elite area of people’s dreams from the curse. Mentioning that people’s freedom has been taken away by blocking a road or region of a free country for one person or group, he said that in future all roads, all regions will be open for people.
He also said that the Awami League has tried to seize a single advantage by capitalizing on the year 1971 and the liberation war. Mentioning that freedom is not the sole responsibility of any person or party, he said, this freedom has been achieved at the cost of people’s blood. And Awami League has converted that freedom into moral property. As a result, the protesting people were forced to drive them out of the country. Sheikh Hasina’s son said that his mother was chased away like a dog. Dr. commented that if he behaves like a dog, he should be driven away like a dog. Masood. The people of Bangladesh have shown the greatest kindness to Hasina, the inhuman murderer who can order people to shoot in the chest, force them to shoot, put the injured and dead people in a van and set them on fire.
Dr. Masud also said that Awami League kills people equally from being in power or out of power. Referring to the old history of Awami League, he said that on October 28, people were killed by logi-baitha on the instructions of Sheikh Hasina. Now the Awami League’s terrorist force, Chhatra League, has come up to destroy the peace and order of the country by killing people by calling it a thief. Mentioning that BCL is directly involved in these murders, he said, all murders must be prosecuted. Criminals should be brought under the law.
