In nine public universities, the first-year undergraduate agriculture cluster admission test for the academic year 2023-24 has been postponed. This admission test was supposed to be held on July 20. Khalilur Rahman, Senior Deputy Director of Public Relations and Publication Office of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Sivasu) gave this information on Monday.
He said, on Monday, the vice-chancellor and the president of the central admission committee, Professor Dr. This decision was taken in a virtual meeting of the Central Admission Committee chaired by ASM Lutful Ahsan.
Later, in a press release of the university, it was said that the admission test for 1st year undergraduate admissions in cluster system in 9 public universities offering degrees in agricultural science was scheduled to be held on July 20. However, due to unavoidable reasons, the admission test has been postponed.
The notification said that the new date and schedule of the admission test will be announced later. In the previous years, the admission test of eight universities was held for agricultural cluster, but this time, Kurigram Agricultural University, which has been approved to start its education program, has also been added to this cluster.
The previous eight universities in the agricultural cluster are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Sheikh Mujib Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Khulna Agricultural University, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Habiganj Agricultural University.
