Economist Wahiduddin Mahmud has been made the advisor to the Ministry of Planning and Ministry of Education. Former Cabinet Secretary Ali Imam Majumder has been attached to the office of Chief Advisor.
Former secretary Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan has been appointed as advisor to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Ministry of Railways. Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has been appointed as an advisor to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture.
8 Redistribution of Office of Adviser
Meanwhile, responsibilities have been redistributed among the current advisors to eight advisors. Saleh Uddin Ahmed will look after the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce. Asif Nazrul will hold the responsibilities of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment and Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
Adilur Rahman Khan will look after the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works. Rizwana Hasan will head the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Water Resources.

Farooqui Azam has been given charge of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
Brigadier General (Retd.) Sakhawat Hussain, who was in charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been transferred to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute. Besides, it has been informed that the responsibilities of other advisers will remain unchanged.
