No one will be exempted from handing over minorities: Home Advisor

Adviser on Home Affairs Brigadier General (Retd.) M Sakhawat Hossain has warned that no one will be exempted if they abuse or torture the minorities. He said that legal action will be taken quickly if there is a complaint of torture of minorities. The police stations along with law and order forces have started working. Maximum steps have been taken for the security of minorities.

Sakhawat said these things in a meeting with the delegation of ISKCON in his office at the secretariat on Thursday. ISKCON Bangladesh President Satya Ranjan Barai, General Secretary Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari and seven members met him.

Home Affairs Advisor said, Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. We have grown up with people of all religions since childhood. There was no difference. We don’t want any fights, clashes, violence. We believe in peace.

Satya Ranjan Barai requested to take priority steps for the security of minorities. The Home Adviser assured his utmost cooperation.
