After the fall of the Awami League government, the clamor for resignation has started. Several people resigned on Tuesday as well. Among them is Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) Director General Zafar Wazed.
He submitted his resignation to the senior secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday.
Earlier, Zafar Wazed was appointed contractually for two years for the fourth consecutive time on May 7 this year.
Before that, he first joined the post of Director General of PIB on April 21, 2019. After that, Zafar Wazed was appointed as Director General of PIB two more times.
