Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has congratulated the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
Monday (July 8) Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman gave this statement.
In the statement, he said, ‘On behalf of myself and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I sincerely congratulate the newly elected president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masood Pezheshkian.
I hope he will play a strong role in solving various problems in the Muslim world including Palestine and Kashmir. We expect his proper role in various issues including world peace and security.
I hope that the existing friendly relations and mutual cooperation between Iran and Bangladesh will further increase in the future.
I wish him good health and long life and family happiness, peace and prosperity.’
