It is said in the statement of the case, the district livestock officer (leave, deputation and training reserve) Dr. Azizul Islam left for the Department of Livestock at around 11 o’clock on June 24 as usual. Anishur Rahman and Asim Kumar were already in the middle of the head office of the Agricultural Extension Department and the Agricultural Institute (KIB) in Khamarbari of the capital, with indigenous weapons. When Azizul Islam reached there, they stopped his car. When Azizul got out of the car, Anichur Rahman hugged him and Malay Kumar strangled him. Asim Kumar beat him and injured him. When he fell on the ground, Anichur Rahman stole 22,000 taka from his pocket. Later others came and rescued him.
